WEDNESDAY, SEPT. 23, 7-9 PM (Networking and Refreshments 6:30-7 PM) At Phinney Neighborhood Center (PNA) Lower Building Sharing Tools from the Pro's Tool Bench and Yours. Join us for this interactive session where seasoned green builders share tricks of the trade, including high-tech and low-tech tools used for energy, healthy building, diagnostic analysis, and deconstruction. We'll cover ideas for builders and DIYers, no matter your experience, with tools to make the job easier and better. WE'LL LEARN FROM OUR 7-MEMBER PANEL... Patti Southard--King County Green Tools, panel host, shares this interactive web tool that helps us build green, and addresses critical environmental issues, with tools for home builders/owners. Noel Stout--Dedicated Deconstruction, covers nail removers, sheathing separators, and low-tech tools that preserve material quality for reuse and salvage. Aileen Gagney--American Lung Assn., brings healthy home inspection/diagnostics tools...moisture meters, low-cost infrared cameras, even high-tech particulate gas monitoring equipment (if avail.). Todd Shwader--PNA Tool Lending Library, comes with a variety of tools to literally check out. Scot Appert--Biohealthy Homes, demonstrates the electromagnetic field meter.
