As part of May Measurement Month, in this edition we showcase the BHF-funded research and work into hypertension, or better known as high blood pressure. Event speakers: Jenny Hargrave - BHF Director of Health Programmes hosts and highlights some of the BHF’s work taking place across the UK. Bettina Wallace – Diagnosed with high blood pressure in 2008, Bettina talks about the positive changes she has made to her lifestyle and of raising awareness in her local Caribbean community. Professor Thomas MacDonald – BHF-funded researcher from University of Dundee discusses his team’s work on a clinical trial answering a simple but important question: when is the best time of day to take antihypertensive medicines? Sindy Jodar – BHF Senior Cardiac Nurse answers viewer pre-submitted questions.
