Day 3. Taekwondo basic techniques & self-training methods

Hello everyone, it is very nice to see you again. It is day three of online taekwondo story 101. In the last two videos, we showed you some warm up drills and stretching techniques as well as basic taekwondo techniques. Before we get into our day 3 practice, I would like to share the values of self-training and how it is important to be practitioners of taekwondo.
1. Why is self-training important?

2. Taekwondo basic techniques & self-training methods
- Basic stances
- Ready stance & Horseback riding stance
- Long stance, short stance, & back stance
- Basic blocks
- Low blocks, middle block, out-in middle block, & high block
- Knife hand blocks
- Basic kicks
- Stretch kicks, front kick, round-house kick, side kick

3. Practicing blocks by looking through the mirrors
- Basic kicks by leaning against wall
- Training with a partner
