#005 - Mortal Kombat (Techno Syndrome) by the Immortals

Something a little different this time. This is my attempt to do a death/heavy metal cover of the Mortal Kombat theme song. I've found most of the metal covers on youtube relied a lot on symphonic/electronic composition (not that there's anything wrong with that!). So I decided to do one that was more straight metal, using only guitars and with a more death metal vocal than the hard rock style found on other covers.

Video games have long been a source of inspirational music for me and I plan to do a few covers of some of the anthems from my childhood in the future!

I've been working on this one for a while however coincidentally, their's a new Mortal Kombat movie coming out soon so I guess the timing is good!
