Non-mRNA vaccines to be allowed through private sector; high demand expected | THE BIG STORY

The Health Ministry said on Wednesday (June 2) Sinovac's Covid-19 vaccine will be allowed under the Special Access Route. This follows the announcement by the World Health Organisation on Tuesday that it had approved the vaccine for use under its Emergency Use Listing.

Meanwhile, on Monday, the Ministry of Health said that it would allow unregistered new Covid-19 vaccines through the private healthcare sector. Dr Tan Teck Jack, CEO of Northeast Medical Group, shares whether his clinics will offer these vaccines. https://str.sg/3kCG
