As I've mentioned in a few comment sections to previous videos of mine, I have been working on this update to the Poise Discussion to reflect the new data revealed via Reddit recently detailing that not all heavy weapons within their respective classes have the same Poise breakpoint modifiers.

This video is my comprehensive guide to understanding Poise in DS3 broken down into:

- How Poise works. Breaking down the essentials that you need to consider when using Poise, and when Poise actually activates or turns 'on' during an attack animation.
- Poise breakpoints for consecutive/infinite HA trading/tanking potential against 2HR1s from all weapon classes using UGS/GA and GH class weapons.
- A discussion of how HA works and how HA changes depending on the attack types used (rolling/running R1, 2HR1, R2, WA).
- A discussion of the weapons that have modified Poise breakpoint values to help you min/max your Poise using these weapons.
- A brief discussion on Perseverance and how it differs to the regular Poise mechanics in DS3.

As a disclaimer guys, my video here breaks down Poise in DS3 to its bare essentials to make it as easy/simple to understand as possible, whilst discussing the new data as well. This is by no means as in-depth/jargon filled as some other videos on the web discussing these mechanics as I wanted to convey this information in the most easily understandable way for you budding Havel Monsters out there.

Finally, the DS community has also showed me a video of early day DS3 Poise mechanic knowledge by a gentleman under the name of /u/morninglord22. Whilst not one of my personal sources, I had no idea his work had existed, and after watching it, it's quite detailed and extensive.
