Cliffvon is a 22-year public servant for the State of Delaware. Mr. Howell provided (11) years of service in the administration of juvenile justice planning and coordination during dual tenures with the Delaware Criminal Justice Council; Mr. Howell provided (10) years of service as the State Mental Health Planner for the Department of Health and Social Services/Division of Substance Abuse and Mental Health; and Mr. Howell currently serves as the Equity and Diversity Coordinator for the Caesar Rodney School District, as well as the Education Co-Lead for the Delaware Racial Justice Collaborative.
Cliffvon is the product of Delaware’s public education system, first receiving his high school diploma from Cape Henlopen High School, followed by a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science from Delaware State University. Mr. Howell completed his graduate studies at Wilmington University where he earned a Master’s Degree in Public Administration. Cliffvon re-invests the education he received from his alma mater with current DSU students as an Adjunct-Professor of History and Political Science where he proudly teaches African American history.
