Electric vehicles (EV) are vehicles that are powered by electrical energy. EVs have low running costs because they have less moving parts for maintenance. EVs don’t have exhaust, spark plugs, clutch or gears. EVs are environmentally friendly compared to vehicles that use petrol or diesel. EVs are more efficient and do not make noise during its operation. Traditional power trains have as many as 2,000 electromechanical parts. In contrast, all-electric drivetrains have as few as 20 components. |
