Stone Age 2.0: Rock and Air to Make Buildings Recyclable | Dr. Etienne Jeoffroy | TEDxHSG |
|
Not many people think about what our houses are made of and yet construction makes up 30% of the world’s pollution. How could insulation out of rock and air help tackle this? The building sector accounts for almost 40% of energy-related CO2 emissions, but pioneers like Etienne Jeoffroy are working towards reducing this amount. He is the Co-Founder and CEO of FenX, who designs mineral waste-based, fully recyclable insulation foams that produce much lower CO2 emissions than alternatives. So join us on December 4th to listen to Etienne Jeoffroy’s talk on tackling the sustainability issue that put him on the Forbes’ 30 Under 30 list. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at https://www.ted.com/tedx
