Did you know that Jackie Chan was originally considered to play the lead role in Everything Everywhere All At Once? That’s right, here’s everything you’ve always wanted to know about one of the most original movies ever made. Directed by Daniel Scheinert and Daniel Kwan (aka “The Daniels”) this movie had a super low budget to deliver pure cinematic awesomeness. They only had 14 million dollars to make all their movie magic dreams come true! So they had to get pretty creative with practical effects, and visual effects. Also, there’s a ton of star power behind this movie. Michelle Yeoh did an outstanding job as the lead. But did you know that Daniel Radcliffe was supposed to have a small cameo? Aaron Lazar ended up taking his role, you might remember him from Wolf Of Wall Street and Avengers Endgame. This film only had a crew of five people for all their special effects, including CGI and practical effects. They ended up improvising a lot, and finding cheap alternatives to expensive CGI set ups. Also, those hot dog hands were real gloves made by the practical effects team! And that raccoon was a real puppet–so convincing! If you ever wanted to know why so much of the movie takes place in a laundromat, don’t worry, we’ll tell you, but you have to watch the video to find out why!
