Everyone needs Tia-Clair Toomey on their cheering squad.

Saxon Panchik was the sole athlete, male or female, to finish Event 4 — The MACC Mile — of the 2022 Mid-Atlantic CrossFit Challenge Semifinal. And Toomey was right there at the finish line to celebrate.

Panchik and Cole Sager traded the lead in the event, but ultimately, Panchik pulled ahead in his final Tank push and finished his remaining set of sandbag-to-shoulders with 10 seconds to spare.
