The New Orleans Saints and Carolina Panthers are set to meet in Charlotte on Sunday. The deep ball is back for both teams with Jameis Winston and Sam Darnold, but their offensive lines will be tasked with keeping them clean. Robby Anderson, DJ Moore, and Terrace Marshall present unique challenges for the Saints secondary and Marcus Williams will be a key piece with Marshon Lattimore expected to miss this game after thumb surgery. Christian McCaffrey and Alvin Kamara are two of the best multi-purpose backs in the NFL and Sean Payton and Joe Brady have two of the best systems for their skillset. Those two will battle it out against two young and talented defenses, but injuries and unavailability could be the Saints' downfall in this NFC South matchup. However, Locked On Saints host Ross Jackson is confident head coach Sean Payton will once again come out swinging when backed up against a wall and facing unique adversity.
