Happy Holi, everyone! Growing up in Toronto, I've only heard about how Holi is celebrated in India with so much colour, laughter and love. For some reason, I've never been able to visit India during Holi season. Always been hugely fascinated by this festival and adding to the fascination was THIS beautiful bandish in raag Bageshri. A masterpiece composition of Pandit CR Vyas, this bandish encapsulates the spirit and joys of Holi in a raag that remains synonymous with colour: Bageshri. Hence, this Holi, the absolutely wonderful @AnirudhVarmaOfficial Collective and I decided to come together to celebrate this festival, raag and composition in our own way. Hope you enjoy!
