According to reports, Shaheer has been roped in to play the lead in producer Yash Patnaik's upcoming show. Incidentally, Patnaik was also the creator of Shaheer's last show Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi, that went off air in October.

It will be an out-and-out a romantic show, where Shaheer will be playing an intense lover. A source close to the upcoming show talked to Time Of India and said, "It is an intense love story, which will be about giving love another chance. Shaheer fits the part to the T. The first schedule will be shot in Jhansi, as that's where the story is set."
