在北京師範大學做教育社會學研究的程猛，近年開始關注和他相似的「寒門學霸」：他們生於農村，通過讀書這條路，走過高考，進入了985、211大學，畢業後在大城市工作生活，「改變」了人生。2015年起，他陸續收集了80多位寒門學霸的自傳和訪談，集結出書，講述他們的故事。一條在北京，採訪了程猛。

Cheng Meng, who does research in sociology of education at Beijing Normal University, has been focusing on “straight-A students from poor families" similar to himself in recent years. They were born in rural areas, got into prestigious universities with high examination scores, and after graduation they found a job in the city, in some way "changed" their life. Since 2015, he has collected autobiographies and interviews of more than 80 such poor straight-A students into a book to tell their stories. YIT interviewed Cheng Meng in Beijing.
