Shankar Mahadevan (born 3 March 1967) is an Indian singer and composer who is part of the #Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy composing trio team for Indian films. Shankar Mahadevan was born in Chembur, Mumbai into a Tamil speaking family from Palakkad, Kerala. He learned Carnatic music as a child, and began playing the veena at the age of five. Mahadevan studied music under Pandit Shrinivas Khale. He is an alumnus of Our Lady of Perpetual Succor High School, Chembur and graduated in 1988 with a degree in Computer Science and Software Engineering from the Ramrao Adik Institute of Technology in Navi Mumbai, affiliated to Mumbai University, and was a software engineer for the company, Leading Edge. After working for Leading Edge Systems (now Trigyn Technologies Limited), Mahadevan ventured into music. He also acted as 'Pandit Ji' in a marathi film named #Katyar Kaljat Ghusli and also sung songs for that movie. Mahadevan also composed songs for for many movies in bollywood like 'Taare Zameen Par', 'Raazi', 'Happy New Year', 'Dil Dhadakne Do', 'Dostana',etc. 2000 he is the #National Film Award winner for #Best Male Playback Singer - "Yenna Solla Pogirai" - Kandukondain Kandukondain. 2019 he is also the #Padma Shri Award winner for his contributions to Film Music under the category Arts. Mahadevan is one of the Besy Playback Singers that India has. He did many live concerts and events till date. . Ganesh Chandanshive was born on 5 July 1977 in Jalna, Maharashtra. He inherited the art of folk theatre of Maharashtra from his father, Shri Sampatrao Chandanshive who initiated him into it. He further received training from Dr Rustum Achalkhamb and Shri Shahir Sahebrao Nandwalkar. He completed his M.A. in Dramatics (Folk Theatre), PhD in Marathi Tamasha, and is working as an Assistant Professor of Performing Folk Arts at the University of Mumbai. Ganesh Chandanshive has performed extensively, and has also directed many Marathi and Hindi plays. He has conducted honorary Tamasha folk theatre workshops in collaboration with the Government of Maharashtra, the Lokkala Academy, the University of Mumbai, and the National School of Drama, Delhi. #godgiftedcameras #GGC .
