Himachal Pradesh has been hit hard by a series of natural disasters and adverse weather conditions, as multiple incidents unfold across the state. A cloudburst in Jadon village, Solan district, resulted in the tragic loss of seven lives. CM Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu extended his condolences to the affected families and directed the closure of all educational institutions on August 14. Similarly, Nahan's Kandaiwala village witnessed a cloudburst, leading to the rescue of 25 school children. With an orange alert issued by the IMD for eight districts in the state, including Mandi, the region faces a flood-like situation due to relentless rainfall
