Our video represents a protest that occurred in the Richmond, Virginia, Shockoe Bottom area against plans for a new baseball stadium. This area is where the pre-Civil War slave trade took place during Richmond's darkest history. Lunpkin's Slave Jail and cemetery are also located in this area. It has taken years for this to be recognized as an important historical location, now the mayor wants a baseball stadium over it erasing its important historical significance.
