This talk was given at a local TEDx event, produced independently of the TED Conferences. Jason Wishnow tells us about his "life after TED" and the filming of his spectacular Sci-Fi movie in China.
Jason Wishnow is the filmmaker behind TEDTalks. Wishnow works at the intersection of film and emerging technologies. As a director, Wishnow’s short films and videos have played on television, in museums, and at over 100 film festivals worldwide including Sundance, Seattle, São Paulo, and Hong Kong. Wishnow’s most recent project is a secret sci-fi film made in China: The Sand Storm (沙尘暴). About TEDx, x = independently organized event In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event.
