The coffin of the late Queen Elizabeth has arrived in Edinburgh following Her Majesty's final journey through the United Kingdom. The funeral cortege made its way from Balmoral Castle to the Scottish capital. Thousands of mourners respectfully lined the route in an outpouring of love for the Queen.

Her majesty's coffin was draped in the Royal Standard for Scotland, accompanied by an elegant white wreath. It now lies in rest at Edinburgh under constant guard before travelling to St Giles' Cathedral on the high street where mourners will be permitted to view the late monarch's coffin.
