Déjà Lewis-Nwalipenja. Déjà Lewis-Nwalipenja (CLA ‘20) is a Drew student from Philadelphia, PA majoring in Political Science with a minor in Sociology. She is deeply passionate about the issues of young Black women concerning race, gender, class and the tensions between these identities. For Deja, being means having a deep connection with one's inner self and the world around them. It means understanding the true meaning of life and learning how each individual can make a difference.
