Most Mumbaikars have spent at least a minute of their lives at one of Mumbai's traffic signals. This film is about the lives and travails of people living around a traffic signal in Mumbai. Silsila (Kunal Khemu), a rowdy is the traffic signal's manager of sorts. He collects protection money from the hawkers at the single and helps them in their times of need. When the local mafia, Afzal Bhai (Sudhir Mishra) asks Silsila to help him execute an enemy at his traffic signal, Silsila readily agrees to do so as he considers it to be a big opportunity for him to expand his base, not knowing that this will change his life forever.
