To gauge the interest of moviegoers, we, at Zoom TV Digital, ran a 24-hour poll on our official Twitter account asking them as to which film out of Zero and Simmba they were more interested in.
With as many as 11 Hindi films having made it to the Rs 100 crore-club in 2018, it has been a great year for the box-office. Zero and Simmba, the two big-ticket films, are yet to hit the screens. Keeping in view the huge buzz surrounding these films, one can expect two more centuries at the box-office this year. And while both Zero and Simmba have already been declared successes by film trade pundits, we wonder which film the audience is more interested in. Is it the Shah Rukh Khan-starrer wherein he plays a vertically challenged man or the Ranveer Singh-starrer that sees him enacting a macho police officer?

To gauge the interest of moviegoers, we, at Zoom TV Digital, ran a 24-hour poll on our official Twitter account asking them as to which film out of Zero and Simmba they were more interested in. The survey received excellent response with as many as 10,453 users participating in it and the final results are out now. While a staggering 73 per cent users showed their interest in Zero, only 27 per cent chose Simmba as their first preference.
While Zero and Simmba are releasing on a gap of a week, one must note that the former is expected to give the latter a tough fight even in its second week at the box-office. In such a scenario, all one can hope for is smooth coexistence of both the films in the cinemas.
ero, directed by Aanand L Rai and also featuring Anushka Sharma and Katrina Kaif, is slotted for a December 21 release. Rohit Shetty-directed Simmba, that stars Sara Ali Khan as the female lead, releases December 28.
