Our attempts to respond to #ClimateChange must involve all levels of human culture, including science, faith, politics, economics, culture and the arts. Here we present you with a work of performance poetry from the current Youth Poet Laureate of the United States, Amanda Gorman.

In all truth, the weak link in our response to climate change is the #PoliticalCorruption of stemming from the globally dominant system of #GrowthEconomics that holds as bedrock the absurd assumption that there are no limits to the Earth, nor to its ability to absorb our wastes, in this case the gaseous wastes that thicken the blanket that is warming the Earth.
