白釉瓷器開始流行於唐代，宋元兩代曾成為宮廷用瓷。明清時候所生產的白瓷別具一格，馳名中外。本講座簡述白瓷的歷史及其在中國陶瓷史上的地位。
一新美術館是一間非牟利民間博物館，由香港政府認可的慈善組織「孫少文基金會」於2015年5月創辦。本館宗旨是以舉辦展覽、 講座、導賞及相關文化活動，促進中國及香港文化藝術的發展。

Talk on White Ware and Chinese Culture 2015.03.05
White ware became first popular in the Tang Dynasty, and later elevated to imperial ware during the Song and Yuan dynasties. Those produced in the Ming and Qing periods were highly distinctive and gained reputation throughout and beyond China. This lecture traces the history of white ware and its significance in the history of Chinese ceramics.

Sun Museum is a non-profit museum established in May 2015 by Simon Suen Foundation, a registered charitable organization in Hong Kong. Its objective is to foster the development of art and culture in Hong Kong and China through thematic exhibitions, lectures, guided tours and other educational activities.
