Films like Padayappa and Thimiru reached audience so much primarily because of the strong female roles with a negative shade. Superstar Rajinikanth’s films have always had such roles and Vishal is now following the same route.

He played the lead in Thimiru and is now working on SandaKozhi 2 directed by Lingusamy. The script has a strong villain which will be played by Varalaxmi who also happens to be a good friend of Vishal and the actor seems to have suggested her to take up this promising character to earn fame among audience.
