How SpaceX Space Factories are Becoming a Reality?
On June 12, 2023, SpaceX launched its eighth dedicated smallsat rideshare mission on Falcon 9 rocket.
At a glance, this mission looks like any other of the company's rideshare missions except for the fact that inside Falcon 9's fairing by then, there is a special type of payload.
It is a W-Series 1 spacecraft owned by Varda Space Industries. What sets it apart from the rest is that this spacecraft plays a key role in a 3.2 billion dollar project promising to help Elon Musk on his journey colonizing Mars.
