For the second year in a row, already establishing a tradition, Mises Brasil hosted a conference on the Austrian School of Economics. On April 9 and 10, 2011, the southern Brazilian city of Porto Alegre welcomed students and professionals from all over the country to discuss the challenges for Economics in the 21st century.

Keynote speakers included leading names of the Austrian School, such as Hans-Hermann Hoppe, Robert Murphy, Peter Klein, Guido Hülsmann, Gabriel Zanotti, Ubiratan Iorio, Antony Mueller, Fabio Barbieri, and Dalton Gardimam. The seminar took place at the CIEE theater, in Porto Alegre.
