For most of my adult life, I've either been considered obese or morbidly obese, two medical terms to mean that I was fat. After many years of losing and regaining weight by following fad diets made popular by news outlets and later social media, I heard about tirzepatide, a new injectable medication for the treatment of type II diabetes and obesity developed and marketed by Eli Lilly under the brand name Mounjaro. Recently approved for diabetes, Mounjaro is awaiting FDA approval for the primary treatment of obesity. Based on the results of the SURMOUNT trial, Mounjaro will likely be the most effective obesity medication EVER. This once-per-week injection produced an average weight loss of nearly 21% of body weight at 72 months.

I've taken Mounjaro injections since July 2022 with positive results and minimal side effects. At the time, there were many YouTube videos about Saxenda, Wegovy, and Ozempic, but very few documented their Mounjaro weight loss journey, so I created this channel to share my experience with others to hold myself accountable.
