Napoli are still working on a deal to sign Chelsea striker Romelu Lukaku.

Chelsea want in the region of £35m for the 31-year-old.

Napoli would have to part with Victor Osimhen to proceed with a move for Lukaku.

The clubs were in talks over a deal that would have seen Lukaku move to Napoli and Osimhen go to Chelsea.

While that deal has not been completely ruled out, Chelsea’s focus is on signing Atletico Madrid striker Samu Omorodion.

Napoli are exploring other potential destinations for Osimhen. Ideally, they want to sell him – or at least have an obligation to buy inserted in a potential loan.
