Mehfil-e Sama‘ & prayer’ ceremony was held under the banner of Minhaj ul Quran at the central secretariat. Internationally known Qawwal Rahat Fateh Ali Khan and Mehr Ali and Sher Ali along with their band members gave a wonderful performance.

Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri, Sahibzada Hammad Mustafa Al-madni attended the Sama‘ ceremony. Chairman Supreme Council Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri and President of MQI Dr Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri presided over the programme, whereas Khawaja Ghulam Qutab-ud-Din Faridi, Sahibzada Pir Qamar Sultan, Amir Afzal, Sufi Khaksar, and Pir Akhtar Rasool of JUP-Niazi were the guests of honour on the occasion.

Sahibzada Faiz-ur-Rehman Durrani, Khurram Nawaz Gandapur, Mufti Abdul Qayyum Khan Hazarvi, Sayyid Musharraf Shah, Muhammad Naeem Anwar Nomani, Jawad Hamid and other leaders were present on the stage. A large number of men and women from Lahore and surrounding areas attending the Sama‘ and prayer ceremony.
