OBAMA CALLS ON ALL GEORGIANS TO REGISTER TO VOTE: Former Pres. Barack Obama speaks at a virtual rally for Georgia Senate candidates Jon Ossoff and Raphael Warnock. Both Senate seats in Georgia remain up for grabs, as Ossoff faces GOP Sen. David Perdue in a runoff election, while Democratic challenger Rev. Raphael Warnock faces GOP Sen. Kelly Loeffler in a special election runoff. The January 5 runoff election will determine which party controls the Senate, and likely whether President-elect Joe Biden will face obstructionism or partnership while pursuing his policy initiatives. Obama, alongside Rep.-elect Nikema Williams and Fair Fight Action Fund founder Stacey Abrams, is expected to call on all eligible voters in the Peach State to make sure they are registered to vote.
