Before anyone worries...Sophia has been perfectly healthy around the boys. No problems. Before we came home from the hospital, we dropped her hospital blanket off to her godfather (who was watching the boys for us). He let the boys sniff the blanket and they eventually ended up sleeping on it. Meanwhile we went home to set up...we placed some of Sophia's worn clothes in the car seat along with some dog treats. When the boys arrived a few hours later, we took Sophia into the bedroom before they came in. When they came in the apartment, they immediately went to the car seat and recognized her scent and were rewarded with the treats placed in it. After they calmed, we brought her out in the car seat. She was a little fussy because I took her off the boob a bit early so don't be alarmed! Babies cry. Overall it went SO well and the boys are extremely protective of her. Side note: the apartment was a mess due to us just getting home with a bunch of groceries...it kills me to see the mess but also its understandable due to the situation.
