Synopsis: Vijay, Jeet and Ajay are three inseperable friends. Vijay elder brother Arvind is the editor of a powerful weekly. To Arvind and his wife there is no differene between Jeet, Ajay and Vijay. Jeet installs Vijay as the manager in his hotel, though his father Mohanlal Saxena, a business tycoon, does not approve of this appointment due to his underground activities. He also does not like Ajay because he is a police Inspector. Mohanlal Saxena disapproves his sons friendship with Vijay and Ajay. Rekha, a working girl meets these three friends seperately at three different places under three different circumstances. And all the three friends fall in love with her without knowing her real identity. Arvind comes across a fugitive from Law who tells him about the devilish side of Mohanlals character. Arvind wants to expose Mohanlal through his weekly. But cannot do it-he is killed in an accident in an automatic lift. Ranjit, Mohanlals right hand man, designs a scheme to bring a rift between Jeet and Vijay. According to the sheme Mohanlal requests Dinanath to give Rekhas hands in marriage to his son. Dinanth does not agree to the proposal as he knows about Rekhas love for Vijay. But Rekha agrees to the propsal just to honour her fathers promise to Mohanlal in the past. After the engagement Jeet comes to know about the affair between Vijay and Rekha. He feels cheated so he breaks the engagement and also part company with Vijay. Ajay through his investigation comes to know that Arvinds death was not an accident but a planned murder. This news sets fire in Vijays mind. He comes to know that Mohanlal is behind the murder. But Vijay cannot get him arrested without proper proofs. Vijay promises to avenge his brothers. murder and in that process he confronts his friend Jeet. . Ranjit gets Vijay involved in a murder in a murder. Vijay is on the run. Police Inspector Ajay is searching him. Mohanlals henhmen are after him to kill him.
