Watch as SpaceX launches their Falcon 9 rocket carrying a SXM satellite into a geostationary orbit. Sirius SXM-8 satellites have the capability to handle high power broadcasting. The constellation currently has 5 satellites, with SXM-8 raising that number to 6. Following stage separation, SpaceX will land Falcon 9’s first stage on the “Just Read the Instructions” droneship, which is located in the Atlantic Ocean.
