Tirosint vs levothyroxine: which is best? In my opinion, Tirosint beats out levothyroxine every single time. Why? For 3 main reasons: The first is that it is much cleaner and has fewer inactive ingredients. This means you are less likely to react to it. The second is that because it has fewer ingredients your body will more easily be able to absorb it in the intestinal tract. And the third is that you have much more flexibility when taking it. Some studies have even shown that taking it at the same time as food doesn’t impair its absorption.
