Leonard Peikoff presents an account of the philosophy of education from an Objectivist perspective, based on a recorded course given in 1985. In this lesson, Peikoff identifies the essential subjects making up a proper curriculum for primary and secondary education. What subjects should children be learning in school? How should these subjects be taught? And, just as important, which subjects should not be taught, even though they are widespread in schools today?
