The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) has made arrangements for flower showers using Cessna planes to welcome former prime minister Nawaz Sharif in the provincial capital of Lahore this Saturday.

The leader of the PML-N, Mian Nawaz Sharif, is scheduled to arrive in Lahore on October 21.

According to reports, to facilitate the event, the PML-N has coordinated with a private airline, which has also obtained permission from the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA).

The CAA has issued a notification authorising the flower shower to take place over the city for a duration of one and a half hours, starting at 3 p.m. in conjunction with Nawaz Sharif's arrival.
