This song was sung by Teresa Teng on July 10, 1976 at her impressive first mini-concert in Shinjuku Ruido, Japan, in front of a sparse audience on a rainy day. Her mother was among the audience. This performance facing a real audience was one of a series of such mini-concerts required to sharpen the vocal and stage presence of a contract singer. Teresa Teng was able to sing well, but her spoken Japanese was described as "halting"... which was forgivable given that she had been in Japan roughly two years. The concert was not video-taped. The sound recording using 8-track tape was done by a private person, and later purchased by Taurus Records and remade for a CD release.
