The joroto x1s is one of the least expensive diy peloton bike options I have reviewed. My favorite feature on this bike is the built in cadence sensor.

The cyclace is good for really tall people on a budget who want the “drops” handlebar position, and don't mind friction resistance. I have a review on a similar magnetic sunny bike with drops but it costs more.

The inspire ic1.5 is a popular peloton bike alternative because it's seen in costco stores, it's very similar to the echelon ex-15 because it has magnetic resistance and gives you your metrics viz bluetooth to an external screen. The echelon ex-15 is probably more popular and has a similar max resistance, I made a comparison video between these two indoor bikes.

The Sunny sf-b1805 is a monster for the price if you don't care about metrics and just want a smooth feeling drive train and a high max resistance too.

The Renpho AI powered bike is the most “beginner friendly” and safe bike I have. The freewheel drive train is much more safe then the fixed drive trains on all the other bikes I have. I think this bike is well suited for a very casual rider and someone just getting started riding, it does not offer the same diy peloton feel as a fixed drive train. The AI features and the display on this bike are unique, and the app is 100% free with classes and FTP test data included.

The Keiser m3i is a legend in it's own right, it has an excellent feeling drive train and extreme max resistance. This bike has been around for many years, it is a popular option in many gyms all around the country, and has stood the test of time. At $2,000 it's not the least expensive bike on the market, but it is commercial grade, and made in the good ol' USA. With the keiser m3i you won't be locked into any particular platform that charges a monthly fee unlike many other bikes at this price point.
