NSW Shadow Water and Housing Minister Rose Jackson points to cost of living as her voters’ main issue while NSW Labor dangles budget ideas like “toll relief” and “outlawing secret rent bidding”.

“We’ve done some work, particularly on housing and renting,” Ms Jackson told Sky News host Cory Bernadi.

“So we’ve done things like talk about outlawing secret rent bidding which is jacking up rent prices here in New South Wales.

“We’re talking about offering stamp duty relief to first home buyers.”
