Heidi left Brisbane after university to work abroad in different sports marketing roles including contract work for the 1998 Kuala Lumpur Commonwealth Games, 1999 Rugby World Cup Wales, and the Sydney 2000 Olympic & Paralympic Games. In 2001, full of excitement, Heidi returned to the city she loves, Brisbane, to expand her horizons.
