Program Overview
Medication Therapy Management (MTM) is one of the biggest "buzz" words in the profession of pharmacy today. More and more practitioners are familiar with what it is, but the biggest obstacle has become knowing how to easily begin practicing MTM Pharmacy, let alone how to receive payment for the services. Just like any other "add-on" service from a pharmacy, i.e. immunizations, there are many barriers to accomplishing the many, many tasks of pharmacy professionals today. In this course, we will attempt to redefine some of these barriers as actual opportunities. One of the main objectives of this CE course is not only identifying where MTM can be a success, but also to review just how to actually receive payment for doing so.
