video thumbnail
Ekim Tan is concerned with the increasing number of ghost cities around the world, and strives to solve the problem. She has designed a gaming concept, which helps the various players involved in the urban planning to come to a consensus for future urban development. The games are now being “played” around the world.

She is a PhD graduate from the TU Delft Faculty of Architecture and the Built Environment and the founder of Play the City.
