Yin and Yang is a Chinese philosophical concept that describes interconnected opposing forces. In Chinese cosmology, the universe is created from a primal chaos of material energy, organized in the cycles of yin and yang, and formed into objects and lives. Yin is the receptive principle and yang the active principle, seen in all forms of change and difference, such as the annual cycle (winter and summer), the landscape (north-facing shadow and south-facing brightness), sexual coupling (woman and man), the formation of men and women as characters and sociopolitical history (disorder and order).
The yin yang is a theory that dates back to ancient China. The philosophical basis on which the concept is located is Taoism, which represents the two opposing but complementary forces of the universe. Yin is a mandarin word (Chinese language) that means: woman, moon or night. It metaphorizes the feminine and passive force of the universe. Yang means man, sun or light. Both forces constitute the basis of the universe. The Yin-yang symbol features a circle with two S-shaped parts, one white and one black. In the white part there is a black dot and in the black part there is a white dot. This symbol refers to the balance of forces. The dark part, usually black, represents yin and the light part, usually white, yang. These two interlocking parts are called 'fish' (魚, 鱼, yú) in Chinese. The circle that encompasses the entire Yin Yang symbol represents everything that exists in the universe. The yin represents stillness and cold; yang, restlessness and heat. Yin and yang are two opposing currents integrated into the unity of everything. According to traditional Chinese medicine, when an imbalance and disharmony between yin and yan appear in a person's body, disease appears. The Yin Yang is represented in the most commonly known form with two colors; black and white, the yang is represented in the white section and symbolizes the masculine that represents the active principle, the active, the logical, the sky, the luminous and daytime. The dark part, normally black, corresponds to the yin that represents the passive, feminine, nocturnal, the earth, the dark and cold. These medicinal and therapeutic sound frequencies are special to induce you to a state of deep meditation to make you enter the dual state of Yin-Yang, intertwining both sides of the universal force to attract your vital energy since energy is a complement to the two forces, two opposite poles that come together to form the force, the potential, the spiritual light that will reestablish the energetic, spiritual and emotional rebalancing of your essential being, healing your body and cleaning your aura. These sound frequencies, being energy inducers of the dual energy of the universe, can also help you fall asleep and improve your level of deep sleep. The man should sleep on the Yang (left) side and the woman on the Yin (right) side. In the event that a couple sleeps in the opposite position, they will not be able to fall asleep nor will they be able to rest in the best way than if they lie on the correct side for their energy.
