Manager Pep Guardiola said on Friday it is his been Manchester City's time to dominate English football ahead of the Manchester derby on Sunday.

City have won Premier League seven times since the 2011/12 season, and are just one point behind leaders Liverpool as they target a fourth consecutive title.

They take on Erik ten Hag's stuttering Manchester United who are sixth in the standings, 15 points behind City.

Guardiola has won eight of his 15 Premier League meetings with The Red Devils, a record bettered only by former Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger with 12.

The Spaniard also confirmed he does not know when Jack Grealish will return after the midfielder limped off injured in the first-half of their 6-2 thrashing of Luton Town in the FA Cup on Tuesday.
