1974 Scottish League Cup Final Celtic lift their 60th major domestic honour, with goals from Jimmy Johnstone, Steve Murray, Paul Wilson and a hattrick from Dixie Deans. Despite 3 goals from Hibs striker Joe Harper, they couldn't pull off a repeat of the '72 League Cup final where they defeated Celtic. It was Celtic's first League Cup in 5 years after 4 consecutive final defeats in the competition, at the hands of Rangers, Partick Thistle, Hibs and Dundee.
