Axl Duhamel, Josh's Son, Is Overjoyed to Join the Big Brother Club

Actor Josh Duhamel recently told a touching story of how his 10-year-old son, Axl Jack, is reacting to the news that he will soon become a big brother.

Josh told Parade that Axl had approached him out of genuine interest and affection. In other words, "He's like, 'Wait, now, am I going to be — You're still going to love me, though, right?'" Explained Josh. Affirming to his kid, "Of course, I'm going to still love you," he smiled. Still, he insists, "I'm going to be your firstborn son, right?" You're still the firstborn son, I say.

Josh, who has joint custody of Axl with his ex-wife Fergie, had nothing but glowing words for his son, saying that he is "really sweet kid" and "really good with younger kids." He spoke about Axl's fondness for infants and said that he thought Axl would be an excellent big brother.

Josh Duhamel and Audra Mari's pregnancy announcement in September was welcomed with congratulations and love from family and fans. Josh's ex-wife Fergie showed her support for the newlyweds by joining in the party.

A year after getting married in Fargo, North Dakota, Josh and Audra are expecting their first child. They only dated for nine months before getting married, but that didn't stop them from publicly declaring their undying devotion to one another.

Even though Josh Duhamel and Fergie split up in 2017 after being married for eight years, they are able to co-parent their son Axl Jack amicably. Josh has thanked Fergie for being supportive and sympathetic, saying that things could have been far worse.
