Observing increasing usage of the Internet, Chuyi draws the audience’s attention to the viral online trends with several specific examples. Ideas on the Internet are spread to others just like a virus—by sharing something to your friends, who share them to their acquaintances and so on, magnifying certain concepts within a short period of time. In this era where the Internet affects numerous individuals, Chuyi advises us to remain vigilant and conscious as consumers and have our own informed stance to either support or oppose the content produced. Chuyi is a current sophomore. He used to be an avid participant in speech and debate, but now his passion has shifted towards the field of economics. He enjoys reading the news, listening to music, and reading about dead economists.
