President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan arrived in Budapest for official visits upon the invitation of Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban.
President Erdoğan was welcomed at Budapest Ferenc Liszt International Airport by Peter Szijjarto, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade of Hungary, Viktor Matis, Ambassador of Hungary to Ankara, Anett Varga, Director General of Protocol of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Hungary, Gülşen Karanis Ekşioğlu, Ambassador of Turkey to Budapest and her husband Ekrem Ekşioğlu. President Erdoğan and his wife Emine Erdoğan, Minister of Family and Social Services Mahinur Özdemir Göktaş, Minister of Foreign Affairs Hakan Fidan, Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Alparslan Bayraktar, Minister of National Defence Yaşar Güler, Minister of Interior Ali Yerlikaya, Minister of Culture and Tourism Mehmet Nuri Ersoy, Minister of Industry and Technology Mehmet Fatih Kacır, Minister of Trade Ömer Bolat, Head of National Intelligence Service İbrahim Kalın, Presidential Communications Director Fahrettin Altun, Chief Advisor to the President Ambassador Akif Çağatay Kılıç and some officials also arrived in Budapest. |
